Master Reach Teach: Professional Development in Field Epidemiology Training Programs
Overview
Our inaugural Master-Reach-Teach (MRT) course will be held in Newcastle, 8-19 July 2024. MRT is a professional development opportunity for graduates of the field epidemiology training programs (FETP) supported by the Field Epidemiology in Action team.
During the two weeks of MRT, the graduates will complete two one-week intensive courses. The courses on offer include an Excel refresher, Data management and analysis and Questionnaire design. All three courses have been specifically designed to meet the needs of the graduates and build on their FETP training.
Fourteen graduates from Papua New Guinea will be supported by an Australian Award provided by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

About the Field Epidemiology in Action (FEiA) Team:
The Field Epidemiology in Action team are a consortium of partners, with the core team based in Newcastle, Australia, with the Hunter New England Local Health District and University of Newcastle. We are a multidisciplinary team, including epidemiologists, physicians and researchers, with a passion for international development and public health.
